Robert is a Chartered Civil and Structural Engineer who also specialises in Geotechnical Engineering with over 25 years of experience in civil, structural and geotechnical engineering in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Since 2006, Robert has been involved in the forensic investigation of a wide range of problems in the fields of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering, including the preparation of Expert Opinions for Court Proceedings, Adjudications, Arbitrations and Mediations, and advising on remedial works. Robert has acted as an Expert Witness and given evidence in the High Court and to other Tribunals.

Previously, Robert was the Chief Geotechnical Engineer for the Dubai Metro Project and Head of Foundations and Geotechnics in the substructures Team at the Terminal 5 Project at Heathrow Airport. He has a wide range of experience that includes designing highways, buildings, railways, airports, sports stadia, drainage, underground structures, tunnels and foundations as well as the analysis of complex soil behaviour, soil structure interaction and seismic design.
