David is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 12 years’ experience in structural and civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom and overseas.

David joined the practice at the start of 2025 after spending the first 12 years of his career working for large international engineering consultancies as a structural engineering designer and manager.  David led teams of engineers in the design delivery for several complex structures in Germany, including for two gigafactories for Northvolt and ACC as well as a large office and laboratory facility for Intel. David also led the design for a new enclosed overbridge structure at Surbiton station in London and managed the design team for part of the redevelopment of New Covent Garden Market.  David's project experience includes residential, commercial, educational, and industrial buildings, as well as museums, railway stations, and sculptures.  David gained valuable experience working on-site during the construction of the deep station box structure for the Elizabeth Line station at Paddington as the site-based representative of the engineering design team.

David is experienced in the design and assessment of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. David's experience includes both new constructions and modifications to existing structures.
